1. The company has to be in business for a minimum of five years. If you choose a start up company then you might as well just go buy a lottery ticket. Why build a business that is left to chance? Anyone who tells you that you can only make money by being at the beginning does not know what they are talking about. You want to join a real business not a ponzi scheme. And any good network marketing company will only get better over time.
2. The company must have honest owners and management full of integrity. I cannot stress how important this is. Building a business in a company who’s values do not align with yours is like building a house on sand.
3. The products must be innovative. Make sure you choose a company that values innovation. Innovation is the key to success in the twenty first century. You want to market products people truly want even if you didn’t have an opportunity attached to them.
Using these tips you will pick a good network marketing company. You are probably wondering, “well, what about all the other things like compensation plans?” Well, to be honest, compensation plans aren’t nearly as important as most people make them seem. What good is it to have the best compensation plan but not have an innovative product that people truly want which creates volume you get paid on?
If a company pays out around 40% and the plan is proven then that’s all you need to know. Don’t fall prey to the “smoke and mirrors” game when it comes to compensation plans.
