Why I Love Being An American
What a wonderful weekend this is for Americans. A weekend filled with picnics, family and fireworks. Recently our visions of our great country has been filled with doom and gloom…i.e. our economic meltdown, natural disasters, the largest environmental disaster in history, etc. This 4th of July weekend, I ask that we all put that out of our minds and be grateful for what we have before us.
We hear our friends, family, neighbors losing their jobs, losing their homes, losing faith in our future. But what is right in front of us, under our noses, is what this great country was founded on, FREE ENTERPRISE! We as Americans hold our own futures in our hands. We have choices that SO many people around the world could only hope they’d have a right to. We have choices to control our lives or let someone else control them. We have a choice to depend on others to make our future, or to write our own futures.
This great country was built by our ancestors who had a dream. A dream to come to a new country, find employment and devote their lives to that country. They risked their own lives to cross the ocean for months at a time for just a glimmer of hope. Their hope was to build a life that would give their children a better life. Just take a look at where our country is now. They have reached their goals by the simple fact of where we are now. We are the most powerful country in the world even at our weakest moment.
Times have changed over the past 234 years. Of course. Our country’s challenges continue, however, the days of working for a company for 40 years are over. Americans now have an opportunity now more than ever to take their lives into their own hands with free enterprise! Our ancestors worked so hard to to build these opportunities and now it’s time for more Americans to take their lives back. Free enterprise is scary, it’s different, and it’s outside of the box. It’s not ‘normal’ in the standard of what this country was founded on. That said, this country will right itself when more Americans decide to take back their lives and venture into something a little different.
MLM or network marketing has become an even more popular venture for those ready to take a chance on themselves. Legendary businessmen like Donald Trump, Warren Buffet and Robert Kiyosaki are large supporters of our industry. This great profession will be the answer for more struggling Americans in the upcoming years.
This 4th of July, I will be appreciative of what I have in this great country. I have opportunities now that my great-grandparents moved here to set up for me. I am grateful for the sacrifices they made. Our country is challenged right now, but we are still powerful! We are resilient people that have the ability to turn this thing around. I have no doubts that we will!
